Pollensa - Chalet

This charming house is situated among the picturesque cliffs of the mountains surrounding Pollença. The property offers a spacious living room with comfortable seating and a dining area where you can enjoy your meals in a cosy atmosphere. You can also relax while watching TV and enjoy direct access to the landscaped terrace.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A washing machine is also available in the utility room.

The bedrooms are arranged as follows: Bedroom 1 has two single beds and hot/cold air conditioning; Bedroom 2 also has two single beds and hot/cold air conditioning; and Bedroom 3 features a comfortable double bed, hot/cold air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, WC and washbasin. There is also an additional outdoor bathroom with a shower, WC and washbasin.

Outside, you will find a private parking space, a large terrace where you can enjoy the outdoors, an outdoor dining area for al fresco meals, sun loungers, a barbecue, a table tennis table and a private outdoor swimming pool measuring 8.00m x 4.00m, with a depth ranging from 1.00m to 2.00m, perfect for taking a refreshing dip. There is also a poolside shower for your convenience.

Location

The holiday home is situated in a peaceful area, just a 2-minute drive from the village of Pollença. The well-known beaches of Cala Sant Vicenç are 5 km away.

The main attraction of Cala Sant Vicenç is its peaceful atmosphere and its beautiful beaches, including Cala Barques, Cala Clara and Cala Molins. The crystal-clear waters and rocky formations make Cala Sant Vicenç an ideal spot for diving.

In Pollença's old town, you will find plenty of shopping opportunities and a wide variety of restaurants. There is also a large fruit and vegetable market every Sunday.

The main landmark of the old town is the 365-step Calvari staircase, at the top of which stands a small 18th-century Baroque chapel. Each step represents one day of the year.

Pollença's historic setting hosts numerous cultural events and music festivals throughout the year.

Port de Pollença

Port de Pollença is located in the north of Mallorca, approximately 6 km from the old town. The bay offers kilometres of fine sandy beaches, some of which are sheltered from the wind by the Formentor peninsula.

Unlike other resorts in Mallorca, the coastline has not been completely developed with high-rise hotel complexes. Here, you will find long sandy beaches lined with pine trees and palm trees, a wide selection of cafés and restaurants, as well as some excellent hotels.

Important information – Tourist Eco Tax (Ecotasa)

A compulsory tourist tax applies in the Balearic Islands to guests over 16 years of age:

From 1 November to 30 April: €0.55 per person per day
From 1 May to 31 October: €2.20 per person per day
From the ninth night onwards, the rate is reduced by half

The Ecotasa can be paid in cash, by bank transfer or by credit card.
