Description
Helen's House is a charming and comfortable townhouse with swimming pool in the historic centre of Porreres and features wooden beamed ceilings and beautiful natural stone walls. The house dates back to 1890 and has recently been carefully and completely renovated, preserving the style and the oldest elements of the house.
The traditional and quiet Mallorcan village of Porreres has a privileged location for travelling the whole island, reaching the best beaches of Mallorca in just 20-30 minutes, several 18-hole golf courses and access to the airport in 30 minutes. Precisely because of this marvellous location and beautiful landscape Porreres appears in all the cycling routes of the island.
Helen's House has a living area of almost 250 m2, which is mainly distributed over two floors, has 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (2 of them with private terrace) and is fully air-conditioned.
On the ground floor there is a cosy living room with direct access to the patio and pool, a separate, fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table and a bedroom with en suite bathroom. In the patio there is a small pool measuring 3.5 m x 1.7 m with a depth of 1.6 m, ideal for a quick dip on hot summer days and comfortable sun loungers for relaxing.
On the first floor there are three spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (2 of them with king-size beds). On the upper floor there is a cosy chill-out area with a fridge and a large table from which you can enjoy the beautiful views of the 18th century church of San Felipe Neri and the mountains of the nearby village of Felanitx.
The house is characterised by its tranquillity, spacious layout and absolute privacy.
The house's modern facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning with heat pump, sun loungers for the swimming pool, parasol and free Wi-Fi. The house provides shower towels and bath towels for the pool, as well as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The kitchen equipment is extremely complete, as you would find in a holiday home. To ensure the safety of guests, the house has a range of methacrylate glasses and plates specially designed for use in the pool, as well as a first aid kit.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Smoking is only permitted outdoors and events are not allowed.
In the Balearic Islands, a tourist tax, called Ecotasa, must be paid for every guest over the age of 16.
Per day and person,
from 1 November to 30 April: 0.55 euros and
from 1 May to 31 October: 2.20 euros.
From the ninth night this amount is reduced by half. The Ecotasa can be paid by credit card, bank transfer or cash. Payment is obligatory.
You will receive a free welcome pack with every booking.

We are available 24 hours a day if you have any questions or need help.

Porreres is a quiet village in the heart of the island of Mallorca. The municipality is located in the agricultural region of Es Pla.
The parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación is the second largest church on the island after the cathedral in the capital Palma de Mallorca. The Roman Catholic church dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries and was built in the Gothic style.
Wine-growing areas such as Son Macià or Randa in the neighbourhood and Llucmajor offer wonderful wine routes.
For those interested in architecture, there are several old settlements dating back to the Bronze Age, and the agricultural roots of Porreres can be seen in the 36 windmills.
The uniqueness of this region also lies in the fact that culture and culinary delights go hand in hand here thanks to the fertile soil and diverse agriculture.

The sanctuary is located 3.5 kilometres from Porreres and can be reached in around 50 minutes on foot and 20 minutes by bike due to its altitude.

Very comfortable and well-equipped house in the picturesque village of Porreres. We enjoyed spending our holiday surrounded by the inhabitants of the village. The famous white beach Es Trenc is only a few minutes away by car. There is a lovely marketsee more

The famous white beach Es Trenc is only a few minutes away by car. There is a lovely market in Porreres every Tuesday, with a good atmosphere and lots of fresh vegetables.

Comfy beds, extra linens, throw blankets, great pillows, and everything you need for a stay of any length. Great outdoor space. The splash pool is nice in addition to the two balconies and one terrace for outdoor dining with a fridge. All very clean (free of webs and debris). There are a few restaurants in town (L’Escrivania being quite good) and a market (Eroski) relatively close, but all close early (and were when I arrived). It would be nice if they did a small welcome basket of fruit and nuts in addition to the cold filtered water. Not all bathrooms had hand soap. None had shower gelany other toiletries. No flexibility on check out. Given how quiet it is in the evenings and as a solo traveler, would have appreciated a smart TV rather than standard (Spanish) cable. Would recommend.

Die Unterkunft ist schön eingerichtet, geräumig und in der Nähe von allen Annehmlichkeiten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden dieses Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder wählen.

Sehr modernes Haus mitten in der Stadt

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem schönen Haus Helen. Alles ist sehr modern und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und die Terrasse mit dem Pool ist sehr gemütlich. Abends haben wir es genossen, auf der schönen Terrasse zu sitzen unsee more
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem schönen Haus Helen. Alles ist sehr modern und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und die Terrasse mit dem Pool ist sehr gemütlich. Abends haben wir es genossen, auf der schönen Terrasse zu sitzen und ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Porreres ist ein schönes Dorf mit viel Charme. In der Nähe gibt es kleine Supermärkte und sehr gute Restaurants. Unter anderem haben wir die wunderbare Bodega Son Macia besucht. Wir haben auch das kleine Dorf Randa besucht und von dort aus einen schönen Ausflug gemacht.
