Description
"Petra Holiday Home", a beautiful, renovated and exclusive village house, far away from mass tourism, where you will find peace and relaxation, perfect for unwinding. A good starting point for visiting the island.
The house is spread over two floors. On the ground floor is the living room with air conditioning, television and two sofas. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub and underfloor heating for cold days.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a table for four people, a fireplace and direct access to the terrace, where there is a Weber barbecue, outdoor seating and a shower to wash off the salt when you come back from the beach or to freshen up before going to bed.
Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, each with a double bed and air conditioning. Between the two bedrooms is another bathroom with a toilet, double sink and washing machine. All rooms have heating.
The house is located just a few metres from the village square, where you will find a variety of restaurants and cafés with large terraces, such as Can Oms, a restaurant serving traditional Mallorcan cuisine specialising in grilled meat and fish. At weekends, you can enjoy a pleasant evening here with live music. Less than 200 metres away is the Celler de Petra, which offers arroz brut, cochinillo and frito mallorquín, among other dishes. If you are looking for sun and sand, Son Serra de Marina is less than 20 minutes away by car, and Playas de Muro is 30 minutes away.

In this area you will find a spacious and cosy living room with pellet cooker, TV and sofa, ideal for relaxing. The kitchen, equipped with high-end appliances such as dishwasher, microwave and coffee machines, also has a large table for 6 people, perfect for sharing unforgettable moments with family and friends. Next to the pool, in a separate annex, is located a bedroom with private bathroom, offering an extra space of privacy.
Upper floor:
Here you will find two double bedrooms, both with 2 m x 90 cm beds, wardrobe and full bathroom. Spaces designed to guarantee a pleasant rest.
Exterior and surroundings
At the back of the house, you can enjoy a private terrace with a 4 m x 2 m swimming pool, ideal for cooling off on hot days and disconnecting in peace and quiet.
Furthermore, the house is located a few metres from the village square, where you will find a wide range of gastronomic options. Among the most outstanding restaurants is Can Oms, specialising in grilled meats and grilled fish, with live music at weekends. Also, less than 200 metres away, the famous ‘Celler de Petra’ offers traditional dishes such as arroz brut, suckling pig and Mallorcan fried fish.
If you are looking for sun and beach, in less than 15 minutes by car you will reach Son Serra de Marina, while in 20 minutes you can enjoy the spectacular beaches of Muro.

Petra is a lovely town that was completely free of tourists when we visited, lots of welcoming locals in the bars and restaurants. We hired a car during our stay meaning we got to travel every corner of the island and with the house’s location being so convenient. Brilliant road systems and easy parking just outside the house. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy the island for what it truly is!
